CNC spinning often requires spinning molds. After the product is formed, the spinning product will adhere to the mold. Sometimes the product is difficult to remove from the mold, which greatly reduces the production efficiency of the product. Therefore, the sheet spinning Compression often needs to consider demoulding issues, and several demoulding methods will be introduced in detail below.
- Design thrust mold
For some spinning products with very high product height, it is difficult to demold by air pressure. Therefore, usually we can make an inlay mold in the spindle mold, and connect a rotary cylinder to the other side of the inlay mold. When the product is spinning, the extension of the rotary cylinder and the tail top mold will drive the product to be demolded smoothly. The specific structure diagram is as follows.
- Design mold release
For some special-shaped products, we usually design three types of spinning molds for demolding. The first is a combined parting mold, the second is a petal mold, and the third is an eccentric mold. We can see the combination in the following picture. Schematic diagram of the parting structure. Taking the venturi spinning product as an example, the mold 1 and the mold 2 are matched by a hole shaft. After the product spinning is completed, the bottom is cut by a turning tool, and the mold 2 and the spinning product can be separated from the mold 1 together.
- Pneumatic demoulding
Pneumatic demolding is an economical and simple demolding method commonly used in spinning. The specific demolding structure principle is shown in the figure below. The CNC spinning machine tool connects an air pipe to the spindle mold. When the air pipe is pressurized, the air in the air hole is blown. The pressure is greater than the pressure outside the mold. When the product spinning is completed, the top of the tail leaves the spindle mold. The air pressure difference between the inside and the outside will make the spinning product separate from the mold smoothly, but the air pressure should be adjusted within a reasonable range. The air pressure is too small, and the product Unsmooth demolding and excessive air pressure will cause the product to fly out of the mold and be injured.
- Design demolding angle of spinning mold
When product conditions permit, designing a certain demolding angle will help the product to be separated from the mold.
